Sania Mirza Failed to Increase India,s Gold Haul as she went down fighting against Austerlia,s Anastasia Rodionova in the Women,s Singles Final at the CWG on Saturday.
Anastasia Defeated Sania Mirza 6-3, 2,6,7-6 |3| to win the Singles Gold Medal.
India,s Gold Tally Sweeled to 24 When wrestler Narsingh Yadav won Gold won Gold in 74 kg.
Narsingh beat South African Richard Addinall in the final while evan MAcDonald of Canada won the Bronze.
Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt Aslo won Gold Medal in 60 kg Freestyle. Yogeshwar Defeated Canada,s James Mancini in the 60 kg Feeestyle Fina.
27 year Old Dutt went to broke from the start with an aggression & verve for which an Intimidated Mancini had no answer , shoving the canadian to the floor twice and then pushing thim out to close out the first session |3-1|
It was the same story in the second with Dutt picking up another aingle then adding there more points to his tally after getting behind Mancini,s Knee and then shoving him out before rolling his opponent on the ground.
