Biography: Shefali Shah, also known as Shefali Chhaya, is a critically acclaimed versatile actress. She has not done too many movies, but she has made an indelible impact with the roles she has done. She was also a part of tv serials like banegi Apni Baat, Kabhie Kabhie, Raahein, Hasratein and Raahein. Though all her performances are brilliant and she mainly does supporting roles, her best loved performances are those of kasturba Gandhi in Gandhi My Father, physically abused Riya in Monsoon wedding and Pyaari Mhatre in Satya.
On the personal front, Shefali was married to TV actor harsh Chhaya but after they divorced, she got married to director Vipul Amrutlal Shah. She has two kids with him and her father is a banker and mother is a homoeopath.
