The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has issued a notice in this regard after founding him guilty of manipulating share prices.
The SEBI has also banned Murli Industries Ltd, Ackruti City Ltd, Welspun Corp Ltd, and Brushman India Ltd from trading.
The direction was issued under the section 11 of SEBI Act following Income Tax department’s investigation report.
The I-T department had started the investigation against Sanjay Dangi and other promoters in 2009. In its 57-page report, SEBI said that I-T department probe reveals that Sanjay Dangi along with other promoters manipulated the share price of Murli Industries
