Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio had a heart attack late Saturday night after his team’s victory in overtime against Notre Dame, the school said Sunday in a press release.

The heiress is scheduled to formally plead guilty Monday to misdemeanor drug possession and misdemeanor obstructing an officer, The Las Vegas Review-Journal has learned. Hilton — who has been arrested for drugs three times in the past six months — will serve a year of probation and avoid a felony conviction under the terms of a plea deal worked out with prosecutors following her arrest on drug charges in Las Vegas, Clark County District Attorney David Roger said Friday.
On Aug. 27, Paris, 29, was arrested alongside her boyfriend, Cy Waits, 34, as the pair cruised along the Sin City strip. Waits is facing one count of driving under the influence and lost his job as Head of Nightclub Operations at the Wynn Resort — an establishment from which Paris has since been banned.
Hilton must also successfully complete a substance abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine, and perform 200 hours of community service, according to the plea deal.

To celebrate Earth Day, we’ll be running some environmentally-themed pieces. I got excited when the topic came up because it meant I could talk about one of my favorite sci-fi flicks, 1972′s Soylent Green. I think it’s safe to say that everyone knows what the secret ingredient in Soylent Green is at this point, but this glimpse into the future (it’s set in 2022) turned out to be amazingly prescient in some regards, highlighting many of the environmental issues we’re currently facing. Charlton Heston stars (sporting some killer duds) as Robert Thorn, a cop who becomes embroiled in a case much larger than it first appears. What looks like a simple death transforms into something bigger and more ominous. As events progress, Heston’s character morphs into a futuristic version of Al Gore, Ralph Nader, and Morgan Spurlock — with a badge. Sure, the technology looks dated, but the story is reminiscent of the best sci-fi, presenting fantastical ideas and concepts that have a direct link to our everyday lives. You can learn a lot from Soylent Green. Jump past the break and I’ll share five things the film has taught me.
Anyway, the premise of this movie is awesome but the movie itself is quite boring. It was probably a blockbuster back in it’s day in 1979. It would be a great movie to remake to today’s standards. I’m usually against remakes but I think this would be a good candidate. And what ho? According to IMDB a rename is scheduled to be released in 2012. How appropriate. The old version is still worth watching. It is a classic after all.

A few hours ago, Lohan announced on her Twitter page “Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result.”
Lindsay is now relying on Judge Elden Fox to allow her to leave California to shoot “Inferno” in Louisiana and possibly fly to New York City for “Saturday Night Live.”
Here’s the problem. Sources connected with the case have been telling TMZ … if Lindsay were to fail a drug test the judge would probably pull the plug on out-of-state-travel — a privilege for Lindsay, not a right.
TMZ broke the story that Lindsay failed two tests … one for cocaine last week.
The judge has been pretty gracious, allowing Lindsay to visit NYC to see her family last weekend. But all bets are off now that Lindsay has flunked two tests.

LOS ANGELES — Russell Brand has been arrested following an altercation with a photographer.
The 35-year-old British actor-comedian was taken into custody Friday at Los Angeles International Airport for a misdemeanor charge of simple battery, according to police.
Brand was booked at LAPD’s Pacific Division and initially held on $20,000 bail. He was released later Friday on his own recognizance, Los Angeles Airport Police spokeswoman Belinda Nettles said.
The victim, a paparazzo who was not identified, placed Brand under citizen’s arrest, Nettles said.
The alleged attack involving the two-time MTV Video Music Awards host and “Get Him to the Greek” star was first reported by TMZ, which posted video of the altercation that occurred as Brand and his fiancee, “California Gurls” singer Katy Perry, were surrounded by paparazzi as they entered the terminal that houses Delta.

Ben Affleck’s new crime thrill movei “The Town” – which he not only stars in but also wrote and directed – opened inmovei threats
today, and it looks like it’s been getting some pretty good reviews. I thought I’d search the Internet, and bring you a few.
The first review I thought I’d write about is from Kofi Outlaw over at screenrant.com, which in fact gives it an impressive rating of 4.5 out of 5. Ben Affleck already proved himself to be a pretty good director, with his first feature-length directional “Gone Baby Gone.
It appears that he has proved his directional skills yet again with “The Town,” which is all about a town called Charleston in Boston that has earned itself a reputation for being the “bank robbery capital of America.” The performances are praised in this review as well.
The next review comes from Stephen Whitty at nj.com. This review gave the movie a 3 star rating and again praises the performances, describing a few of them as solid. Two performances that appear to be praised the most however are the ones from Jeremy and Blake Lively.
f you had a nickel for every movie that featured criminals engaged in one last big score, you could probably afford to mount a Broadway musical production of Avatar. (James Cameron, if you’re reading this – no need to thank me.) The Town adds a slight but important twist, however: The criminal doesn’t really want to do the job.
The reluctant robber is Ben Affleck, who also co-wrote the screenplay (based on Chuck Hogan’s novel Prince of Thieves) and directed the film. This is Affleck’s first writing-directing gig since his well-received Gone Baby Gone in 2007, and the first time he has combined all three talents in one film. If he felt thinly spread, it doesn’t show.

The Daily Show host and New York cover boy announced on Thursday night that he will be holding “The Rally to Restore Sanity” in Washington D.C. The rally – which he later dubbed the “Million Moderate March” – will take place October 30.

Tonight’s the night all of us “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” fans have been waiting for- the Season 6 premiere on FX at 10:00 pm. Bust out your Greenman outfits, your penis towels and have a shot of tequila- it’s the salt, then the lime, then the tequila? The gang at Paddy’s Pub is back to make us laugh tonight and we couldn’t be more excited. If you are new to the show or shy about indulging, there’s still time to get hooked- and trust us, you will. Not only does the show have the craziest group of characters on television, Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito) but it’s guaranteed that you will laugh out loud at least three times an episode. Charlie’s voice alone will have you rolling on the floor. And to think, the show started out as a You Tube video, which has now generated two of the greatest things on Earth- It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Justin Bieber.
Starting with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I was lucky enough to get to see four new episode from this new sixth season, and I have two words for you: McPoyle Brothers. Oh yes, they’re back!
But of course that’s not all. In the premiere episode, we find Mac fighting gay marriage, and yes it’s as outrageous and funny as it sounds. And in other episodes, we find the gang buying a boat, which leads to Dee dancing with one of those inflatable dolls you find at car dealers (not sure what they’re called), and it’s pretty cool actually. Dennis gets married (and divorced), to whom, well you’ll have to tune in. And finally Sweet Dee gets pregnant and tells the gang that the father is one of them. Yes, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia once again has some of the most shameless and craziest episodes on TV, and you need to make sure don’t you miss a second.
